This is a replacement water chamber for the DreamStation 2 CPAP machine, but please note that it does not include the lid. It is used to add moisture to the air pressure and prevent dryness.

 

How to care for your water tank

To gain the most from your therapy, you should regularly clean your water chamber with warm, soapy water. Alternatively, you can place the chamber on the top shelf of your dishwasher on a gentle, light wash and let it air dry away from direct sunlight.

You should only fill your water chamber to the indicative line to prevent it from overflowing and deteriorating your CPAP machine. The water should be distilled, as this is pure water that is healthy to breathe in. It should also be replaced after each use.

Using distilled water helps prevent chemical build-up in your chamber and makes it last its lifetime.

Please note: Your water chamber should be replaced every six months.
