Postal and courier delays – December 2022

Dear customer,

All orders are despatched via Royal Mail or DPD Local, both of which are experiencing unprecedented delays currently.

You will likely be aware that Royal Mail workers have staged multiple strikes during December which has led to significant delays throughout the delivery network.

Combined with the increased number of letters and parcels seen at this time of year, many customers are seeing their orders take longer than we would expect.

We apologise sincerely for this and hope you can understand that this is largely beyond our control.

We have however upgraded many orders to quicker services at no additional cost, sometimes from 2nd class to 1st, and sometimes to DPD instead.

However, even DPD are now experiencing delays – as all couriers are. Many companies like us have taken a similar approach, using next day carriers instead of using Royal Mail and the extra volume of parcels they are receiving has been overwhelming.

This ultimately means there is no solution to this issue beyond asking for your patience and understanding. There are no delivery companies who are able to provide a faultless, reliable service at this time.

If you need any update on the progress of a delivery, please do contact our team, they will be more than happy to help. But please – be respectful and understanding. These delays are not their fault and there is very little they can do to influence when your package will arrive. This is very much a nationwide issue affecting all parcels and all companies, it is not exclusive to Intus Healthcare, and is certainly not the responsibility of the person who answers the phone to assist you.

We have a zero-tolerance to abuse, be it shouting, name-calling or emotional abuse. It is unacceptable and calls of this nature will be terminated.

We thank you for your understanding and patience. We will be continuing to do all we can to get orders delivered on time, we know how important the equipment we sell is and we share your frustrations and concerns when delays happen.

Finally, we would like to thank you for being a customer of Intus Healthcare. We’re a small company and your custom makes a big difference to us; hence we are working hard to mitigate these delays wherever possible. We would also like to wish you a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous 2023!

Regards,

Intus Healthcare
