We offer a quick, convenient and in-home Sleep Study to distinguish whether you, or somebody you know could be suffering from Sleep Apnoea.
There are two choices of Sleep Studies to choose from:
Finger Pulse Oximetry Sleep Study
This monitors your heart rate and blood oxygen levels throughout the night. You must also fill in a detailed medical questionnaire. In many cases, this alone may be sufficient to identify Sleep Apnoea.
Multi-Channel Respiratory Sleep Study
This monitors your heart rate and blood oxygen levels, but additionally monitors chest resistance, respiratory flow, body position and other data channels to form a more in-depth picture of your sleep. You must also fill in a detailed medical questionnaire with this study also.
We would encourage opting for the Multi-Channel Respiratory Sleep Study, as it provide a more thorough and conclusive result and diagnosis – but the choice is entirely up to you.
Sleep Studies are usually processed within 7-10 days – meaning if you’re diagnosed with Sleep Apnoea, you can receive the most effective treatment (CPAP) within 2 weeks.
